Easter Cards with Taylored Expressions and Catherine Pooler

Happy Easter weekend everyone! SO, as per normal with many things I am totally late doing some Easter cards, but I managed to get two done last night so Here they are!

Card 1:

For this card I used a Taylored Expressions Stamp for the background called “luv-a-Doodle”, and the cross is also a Tailored Expressions stamp and die set called “Iconic Wishes – Savior”.

I inked both of these stamps up by applying in this order: Tiara, Tikki Torch, Tutti Frutti and Party Dress. This technique worked so well with these stamps and did not muddy up the ink pads!

For Card 2, I also inked the cross the same way using Aquatini, All That Jazz, and Daydream:

The background is done by Inking my Gel Plate with Aquatini Ink, applying a Barking Mad stencil from Crafter’s Companion, and inking over the top with more Aquatini before removing the stencil and taking a print onto white card.  The edges are gilded using Silver Nuvo gilding flakes onto of Nuvo Glue Pen, and finally some dew drops placed randomly using Nuvo Crystal drops.

Have a great Easter everyone!
